Eye Make Up Remover, No?

hey guys!

so i've been meaning to find a good eye make up remover

i've tried KATE, CLINIQUE, a japanese eye make up remover which i don't know the name, and some more.

so as far as i know CLINIQUE is the best eye make up remover i've ever tried

then i check makeupalley and check which product has the best reviews.

and i read that vaseline can be a great eye make up remover.

so i gave it a try.

using my make up from the night i went out with my family, i used clinique on my left eye and vaseline on my right eye.

so here's the review of both products.

Vaseline

Yay:

  • It does its job wonderfully
  • Doesn't make my eyelashes fall off
  • Doesn't leave my lid dry
  • Economically-friendly LOL

Nay:

  • You have to be very patient as it takes a lot of time to clean your eye make up

How to use?

take enough amount of vaseline onto your finger and rubs gently all over your eye lid and eyelashes.. then clean it with cotton gently.. make sure that the vaseline doesn't get in your eyes. lol. no, i'm serious.

Clinique

Yay:

  • It does its work well fast
  • Doesn't leave my lid dry

Nay:

  • Too pricey
  • It leaves red mark on my lid and it hurts huhu
  • Makes my eyelashes fall off :(

How to use?

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3. just take enough amount of clinique to the cotton and rubs gently over your eye make up and mascara. *maybe i did it harshly that made my eyelashes fall off huuuuuu*

Before:

After:

if you notice in the pic, after i finished cleaning my eye with clinique, the red mark appeared and it hurt. i'm not really sure but maybe clinique doesn't suit my skin well. guess i'll be using vaseline from now on.

Vaseline, yoroshiku onegaishimasu! :D

Have you tried the make-up remover from Victoria's Secret. I hear it works really well. I also like Mandom make-up remover, it's a Japanese brand. And I also like Neutrogena eye make-up remover as well.

i've never seen Victoria's Secret nor Mandom sold in Indonesia :( oh but i'll try to find a way to get them.. thanx for the info, Tina :)
