Bonjour Paris pt.2

Day 2 in Paris we planned to go to Notre-Dame de Paris and of course, Eiffel Tower! You're not in Paris if you don't go to Eiffel Tower, rite? Ho Ho Ho! So we took a subway to the nearest station to Notre-Dame de Paris and when we got off the station, we saw this building, I forgot what this building is but I remember that it's pretty important *d'Oh! stupid me!*

Then we walked around to find the Notre-Dame de Paris. It should be near but we didn't find any clue to the Notre-Dame. Well as far as I remember when I first came to Paris with my parents, it was near the river so we went to the river and still, no clue of the Notre-Dame -______-" But of course we had to take pics since the view was sooo nice.

But not the weather tho. It was raining all day. You can see from the wet roads and neither one of us brought an umbrella. Great! And still, there was no clue. We were wet and lost LOL And pretty much hungry hahahaa. I wasn't too fond of the weather but the view was really great! It's typical European style and I love it! But yeah, the weather just ruined my entire mood :(

We kept walking around still hoping that we would find the famous Notre-Dame and we came across this building. Again, I didn't know what it was but it was on Avenue Victoria. Then I saw a policeman, I thought it would be much better to ask him since we had no idea where we were. Then it turned out we weren't so far away from the place. YAY! He said we had to walk for about 1 minute, turn left then there we could see the Cathedral. And we did what he told us. But it was like more than 3 minutes and still couldn't find it. LOL I guess we had to practice more of finding some place -_______-"

After walking for about 5 minutes or so, finally there it was! THE NOTRE-DAME de PARIS! It was sooo beautiful and classic! And I couldn't resist of taking pics in front of the Cathedral. So I took several photos and got in line to go into the Notre-Dame. There were so many ppl but I still could breath inside so I think it was good! Notre-Dame is big and beautiful, I love it. There is the Joan of Arc statue inside. So we walked around inside the Cathedral and went to the giftshop.

The astonishing Cathedral with the christmas tree in front of it. Wish I could take a nice pic of it tho :(

Next stop is BASTILLE. The only history subject that I was interested in was France Revolution with the story of Versailles and the prison of Bastille. And I was being real retarded and stupid since I was looking for the remains of Bastille Prison d'Oh! We got off of the Bastille subway station and walked around to see signs of the Prison. No clue.

We just saw this monument and nothing else. Then we saw 2 women walking and I just asked them which directions to take to go to the Prison Bastille. And this was their answer: "There is no Prison anymore. It was demolished." Okay, I felt stupid LOL Apparently there is no remains of the Bastille. Well they have tho but they moved it in another place and we didn't feel like of searching for it since we were excited for the Eiffel Tower! So, off we went!

Eiffel Tower!!! Too bad i was already too dark when we got there so I couldn't take nice pictures :( *lame excuses of not be able to take good pics LOL* And it was too crowded! Ugh! It always gets me a headache when there is too many ppl around me >_<

It was beautifully standing under the dark sky. Oh my! I should go here again someday with my husband *drooling all over* LOL

Sorry the pic kinda blur. So hard taking pics with so many ppl and it was already dark and yeah, the camera is not that oh-wow-SLR and my friend is not a photographer. But I was happy enough to take pic under the Tower tho. 2 of my friends were getting in line to get up inside the Tower but since I am afraid of height I'd rather do something else. And I ran out of money anyway, so yeah queuing for the elevator was not a good choice for me.

While 2 of my friends were lining for the elevator, my other friend and I walked around and decided to get on the boats near the Tower. And I took a last pic of Eiffel Tower at night. It's pretty, rite? I really should go here again someday. Just wish me luck! :D

So that's the second day of my trips in Paris. I'm gonna post a day in Versailles next, so for now CIAO.

HAVE A GREAT DAY, EVERYONE!!

Bonjour Paris pt.1

I'm baaaaack! Sorry it takes tooooo long to post the trip from Paris, unfortunately, right after I came back, I collapsed, couldn't even get out of the bed. I got this fever, coughing a lot til my throat and chest hurt like hell, a lil touch of asthma, this and that for a week! I went to a doctor and turned out I suffered from bronchitis. d'oh! What a pleasant surprise from Paris -______-"

Anyway, finally arrived in Paris after a loooong way of trip. We took the train from Neubrucke Station at 22.20 and had to wait in Saarbrucken Station for like 2 hours and it was FREAKING cold!! Then we took bus to Paris for about 5 hours and since it was already 01.30 we just slept all the way to Paris.

Then we had to take a subway to Place d'Italie and someone from the hostel picked us up. When I first saw the building, it looked really old and dirty but when I went inside, it was quite nice! It's true, don't judge a book by its cover hahahaa. We took a rest for a while, had a breakfast and took a nice shower (the bathroom is really really nice and cute!)

This is the view outside the Place d'Italie subway station. Quiet and cooooold!

Then we were ready for our first adventure in Pariiiiiissss!

I forgot what I put on but I didn't feel like putting too many makeups.

So, our first destination was Arc de Triomphe. It wasn't so far away from our place but oh my, it was indeed coooold, even colder from Germany >_<

I know I know I don't have an artsy piece in me but it's still good rite? rite?

Interesting story while we were in Arc de Triomphe. Just as soon as we got out of the subway station, we saw a lot of women and girls from Bosnia and they kept asking ppl whether they can speak English or not and many of them came to us. I don't know what it was all about but my friend said that they offered us to be our tour guide for the place. Well we didn't need one so we just smiled and gave a hand gesture of "thank you, I don't speak English" and this girl suddenly said "ah, BITCH"

O_O

Ah, people. We are indeed the rudest creatures God ever created. LOL

And since we came out of the house pretty late, so it was already the time for lunch. So we looked for junk food restaurant so we could eat quickly and continue the journey.

Even after eating, I didn't feel warmer so we tried to find some place warm and found Peugeot Showroom and they had some kind of exhibition. Cool!

Theeen come my favorite part of all Paris.

I present you:

SEPHORA! LOL I know I know retarded, but this was my first sephora ever. Poor me, right? Suddenly I got this energy out of nowhere and I smiled and smiled and couldn't stop smiling LOL. I bought UD Palette and I'll show you in my maybe next next next post. Since I came there not by myself, I had to think about other ppl (well, I know if I came alone, I'd stay there like the whole day)

And we walked again around the place.

We were trying to go to Lafayette but it was kinda hard to find it and we found this Academie Nationale de Musique instead. Just took some pics tho and we kept walking and found this monument. I'm not sure what this is but it was really nice to see at night. And along the way you can see jewelry stores, and my fav Tiffany&Co! Ohh I just wish someone special will buy that one for me someday LOL.

Then we off to see Lourve Museum since it was free for ppl under 26 years old. YAY!

The famous Lourve Museum, where you can see Monalisa.

I went inside, it was REALLY REALLY REALLY BIG! You need more than 1 day if you want to see the whole museum. I just went to see Monalisa. And it was crowded I couldn't take pics of the famous picture. But it was kinda too small in the place THAT big.

Otw to the famous Monalisa. Loooooong and winding road LOL.

I was getting too tired of walking and I just went back to the entrance and just sat waiting for my friends. And since 2 of my friends were taking too long on the tour of Lourve, me and my friend decided to go back home first since it was too cold and we were too tired and we still got 2 days to enjoy Paris. Sooo, we went home and took a nice shower and took a nice rest. Our first night in Paris :D

Off to Paris!!

So yesterday I woke up early at 7 am as usual for 9 am German class. I had breakfast, I took a nice shower, I did a simple look, I prepared the books and stuffs, put on my jacket and shoes and finally headed off to the class. It was freaking cold outside I was so lazy to go to class but I did. And then.. I met 2 of my German's classmates, and they told me....

The class is cancelled

End of announcement. -______-"

That's one of the reasons I hate my school here. We have changes of schedule every week, which is totally annoying. And if something happens, we are notified one day before or sometimes even the day, which is more annoying. So we have only lil time of preparation. Okay, gotta live with that now. I should stop whining. The good thing is... I didn't have German's class! :D YAY!

And the washing machine did it again! GGRRR! I put my clothes in one of the washing machines and put the 1.50 Euro. I waited but no water came out for about 5 minutes *the water should've come out right away when you start the washing machine* It was official: The machine ate my money!! Damnit! oohh They should do something with the washing machine room since only some of the machines actually work! BOO for the machines!

And here's the FOTD I did yesterday. Maybe I should wear them everyday so my class will be cancelled everyday LOL

Last week I went to Frankfurt with my friends, we caught the 7.38 train since it went straight to Frankfurt and it took about 2 hours from Neubrücke Station. At first we wanted to go to the zoo and walked around the old city near the zoo, and then went to Gießen and Marburg but since we only went there for a day so we didn't have enough time and ended up going to the zoo only -sigh- But it was really fun!

So we went by Regional train with this ticket

It's a weekend ticket for 35 Euro for max. 5 persons, so better get your 4 friends so it'll be much cheaper. It can be used all over Germany only in the weekend (of course) and valid for one day only.

And we took some time to take pics in front of Frankfurt Train Station. There were lotsa ppl but meh why should we care? LOL

And on the way to the centre of the city, we passed these shops.

There were so many sex shops along the way. I wanted to go in actually but somehow my deepest heart said don't LOL.

And at last! Modern buildings! Oh I will never find one in Neubrücke hahahaa.

And I had my first starbucks in Germany finally. It was hot and I don't like hot drinks so I had to share with my friends coz I didn't wanna throw it out but I enjoyed every sip of it lol.

Then we went to the zoo by subway. Actually I took a lot of pics in the zoo but somehow they're not really attractive, they're plain...... and blur -______-" I must learn hard to take pics next time. Dang!

We just realized that it was already 2 o'clock so we said bye bye to the zoo and headed off to find something to eat. And on the way back to the train station, we saw some young German guys dancing in front of the Alte Opera, I think it was their traditional dance tho but I'm not really sure, but I'm sure it wasn't a hip-hop dance.

Then we went to this Asian Restaurant near Dr. Muller (the sex shop) and it was REALLY delicious! There were only the 3 of us but we ordered for like 6 ppl LOL but I was being really smart for not taking the pics of the food -____-". We were too hungry to even remember to take pics for memories hahahaa. And we went back to Neubrücke at 6 something. Once again, tired but fun!

This week, we are going to France at last! Crossing my fingers! I'm soo exited! :D

Oh, I took this pic in the first day of snow in German from my room. At least I have something that makes me pretty happy right now, SNOW! It's freaking cold but I like watching snow falling from the sky :)

Lumiere Cosmetics Hauls

Couple weeks ago I ordered Lumiere Cosmetics as they had Set of Sample Baggies for only $0.01 and $5.00 for the shipping cost (arigatou Nanzy-san) And around last week, it was on my mailbox YAY!

The set consists of 5 products of your choices FROM foundations, cheek colors, face & body enhancers & finishing powders. It's too bad they can't give samples for eye pigments tho because they look really pwettay :(

So I ordered Light Beige Luminesse, Nude Bronzer, Mauvelous Veena Blush, Wild Rose Veena Blush, Fresh Roses Silk Blush. In general I gotta say, me love Lumiere Cosmetics esp. the blushes! I'm really happy of what I ordered and it didn't take that long time for the shipping :D

Here's how they look in my skin.

When I first the foundation, I thought that the color is kinda too white for me and I was afraid that it would be too cake-y but when I applied on to my face, it worked pretty well :D I forgot to take pics so later I'll try to take a good pic and post it. I hope I won't be too lazy hohoho And the bronzer is just perfect, I think it can be a better foundation for my skin compared to Light Beige hehehe.

I did say it but I'm gonna say again, ME LOVE THE BLUSHES! Both Wild Rose and Fresh Roses are kinda shimmery and Mauvelous is pretty matte. When applied on to my cheeks, Wild Rose looks orange-y and I've been wanting to try summery look blushes. Fresh Roses I think is the perfect color when you want "bright" color, the color really pops. But I love Mauvelous the most :D It is an muted berry-pink infused with a touch of plum and boy, it's a best seller!

Interested in trying your choices of colors? Click here and happy shopping!!

Have a great weekend, ppl! :D
